Our History 1949. Mezőgép, the predeccessor of Hantech is founded after WWII as a service station for agricultural machines for the Kisalföld region of Hungary. 1962. From this point Mezőgép serves not only as a service station but starts with low scale manufacturing for the agricultural industry. 1974. Now most of the yearly turnover is generated by export, especially with the company Fortschritt from the GDR. 1982. From this early period Hantech specializes in producing Pickups. 1990. After the change from the socialist regime the company was privatised on the open market. 1997. Hantech qualifies for ISO 9001. 2001 Acquiring the first lasercutter to improve its flexibility to the rapidly changing demands. 2004. Introducing a complete powder painting line to ultimately replace the older dip painting line. 2007. Opening the second production location in Tamási specializing in welding. 2009. Hantech purchases it’s first welding robot from Cloos. 2011. Going with the demand Hantech expands it’s lasercutter machinery to 4 machines. 2013. Introducing the 3D Römer measuring arms. 2016. Purchasing the first Fiber Laser. 2017. Salt spray test cabin to ensure the quality of powder painting and a second welding robot from IGM. 2019-2020. Purchasing of a new automated powder painting line to meet the rising demands of our customers.
